An online course providing support and training for new features within Moodle 2 and how they can be used in teaching.Â
The course is designed to develop knowledge and understanding of features and to enable the sharing of ideas with other teachers on how these features can be applied to teaching and learning. It uses the features of Moodle 2 that you will be learning about to get the experience as a learner and gain the knowledge required by the teacher.
Developed as part of the LSIS Collaboration in Technology project.
This was originally a workshop at the Dublin Moodle Moot 2013 and is aimed at teacher, lecturers, learning technologists and trainers who already have worked with Moodle and want to explore the options available for graded assessment in Moodle 2.
The course is designed to give a fun introduction to Moodle's graded and gradable activities - forum/glossary/database/assignment and quiz by placing the participants in the situation of a Reality TV show.
Details on  on how to run the course are  available on the blog post http://www.moodleblog.net/2013/06/22/moodle-course-assessment-with-celebrity-flatshare/

This is a Mystery course which makes heavy use of Conditional activities to gradually reveal the answer to the mystery (What are we learning today?) and move forward the learning. If you access this as a student you will only see one item and the others will reveal themselves as you go along. If you access it as a teacher, check out the teacher's instructions in topic 5 (hidden from students)Â Download this course from Moodle.net here
